2021: Data Gumbo’s Year in Review
Suffice it to say it’s been one heck of a year at Data Gumbo. As 2021 winds down, we wanted to take the opportunity to reflect on our journey over the last 12 months by revisiting company milestones. Several key highlights achieved throughout the past year include the following:
Presentations and Panels
Data Gumbo participated in numerous panels, webinars and industry conferences including the virtual SXSW Houston House presented by Greater Houston Partnership (GHP), a local business partnership group dedicated to the economic development organization of Houston as a great place to live, work and build a business. The panel was moderated by Natalie Harms, Senior Editor of Houston Innovation Map, and featured Al Carnrite, CEO and President of The Carnrite Group, exploring the hot topic of the recent rise of ESG and its significance in the global energy transition. Catch the recap here.
In a similar vein, our Founder and CEO presented at the 5th Annual Blockchain in Oil & Gas Conference hosted by the Energy Conference Network. The event was produced in partnership with the industry consortium group, Blockchain for Energy (B4E), and brought together an ecosystem of operators, service companies, industry stakeholders and other interested parties, affording attendees the opportunity to network, innovate and strategize around forging industry solution frameworks. Catch Andrew’s key takeaways from the event here.
Partnerships
On a different note, we’ve forged collaborations with the Open Group Open Footprint Forum and B4E, with additional partnerships established with Kongsberg Digital, to improve supply chain efficiencies through the union of digital twin and smart contract technologies; and with Topl, a public-permissionless blockchain that works in tandem with GumboNet ESG to provide evidence-based, transparent Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) data reporting.
